In the first, Felipe Ho scored 64.6 and was tied with Chilean Benjamin Ayala in tenth place. In the second, the Brazilian improved his performance with a different count, reaching 45.1 and tied for ninth place with Mexican Thor Villegas.

Thus, he finished in tenth place in the general classification, with 109.7. However, it will take more than this performance to win a medal. American Jesse Grupper led with 191.9 (99.8+92.1), his compatriot Sean Bailey was second with 164.2 (84.2+80). Canadian Sean McColl finished third with 152.8 (84.7+68.1).

On the other hand, Rodrigo Hanada placed 15th in the first climb and did not fluctuate much, with a 16th place in the second stage. In fact, it was his overall ranking with 82.6 (49.5+33.1).
