According to DIS, which owned 40% of the player’s rights, the company would not have received the correct amount to which it was entitled under the agreement. Thus, DIS asserts that there was concealment of values.
Besides Neymar, the defendants are his parents, Neymar Santos and Nadine Santos; Barcelona and its former presidents, Sandro Rosell and Josep Maria Bartomeu, in addition to Santos and its former president Odílio Rodrigues.
All deny the charges.

Can Neymar be stopped?
If found guilty, the player of Paris Saint-Germain and the Brazilian national team faces up to five years in prison, which would prevent him from acting, but the procedure tends to drag on.
As news of the trial gathered momentum, Neymar, on his official Instagram account, posted a religious passage.
According to the post, the ace relies on “divine support” not to “fear” the legal consequences of the case.

However, PSG’s number 10 has 7 assists so far which cements him as the best player in the competition so far.
