Elon Musk’s Parents

Errol Musk, father of Elon Musk, is a South African engineer. Her mother, Maye Musk, is a Canadian nutritionist and model. The couple were together from 1970 to 1979, their children – including Elon Musk – being born in South Africa, where Errol worked in emerald mining.
