Gabriella attempted the counterattack and attempted the takedown, but ended up getting the worst of it and falling under Jasmine. In addition, Jasmine remained in control, using her head well to neutralize the Brazilian’s actions from below. With ten seconds left in the lap, Gabriella attacked an inverted triangle, but there was no time left.

At the start of the second round, Gabriella was able to put together some good jabs and straight streaks. Jasmine tried to shorten the distance, but the Brazilian fought back well with the combinations. The Canadian managed to stick and put Gabriella on her back on the railing. After some prodding, Jasmine braided the Brazilian’s leg and landed a good takedown, landing in half guard. The Canadian left for the 100 kg position. Jasmine managed to trap the Brazilian’s arm in a crucifix and started attacking with her elbows. After taking numerous blows, Gabriella exploded, managed to get rid of the crucifix and survive until the end of the round.

Gabriella started the third round looking to strike from long range with kicks and straights, staying away from Jasmine. Less than a minute into the onslaught, however, the Canadian went to the Brazilian’s legs and ended the fight. Gabriella had a noose around Jasmine’s neck, but the position wasn’t good for the guillotine. Even with the neck dominated by the Brazilian, Jasmine followed Gabriella. The Canadian managed to free her neck and began to strike from above, without losing her controlling position, where she remained until the end of the fight.
