Health professionals who work at the Urgent Care Unit (UPA) in Rondonópolis, 218 km from Cuiabá, have had their salaries delayed since December and suspended part of their services this week.
The city council’s health commission, which is working to resolve the situation between the town hall and medical professionals, said it was only dealing with urgent cases.
The Municipal Health Secretariat reported that the payment of health professionals who provide services to the UPA and AP for children was made this Monday (13) to the account of the Regional Health Consortium of the region du Sud, which shifts salaries to outsourced doctors, nurses and nursing technicians. The forecast is that deposits to workers’ accounts will start to drop around 10 a.m. and everyone should have received by 11 a.m. on Tuesday (14).
According to the filing, December wages have been paid, which is due on January 20, and this week January wages are also expected to be paid, in which wages fall on February 20.
On the night of this Monday (13), the management of the Urgent Care Unit for Children (UPA) declared that they had reached an agreement with the doctors to return to work. The situation, however, remains complicated, since the professionals are hired by a company contracted by the Rondonópolis Health Department and, according to them, the salaries are still behind.
The professionals had already informed the Town Hall in December that they could suspend part of the service if the payment of wages was not regularized.
The president of the city council’s health commission, councilor Marildes Ferreira, said that the secretariat had deposited the salaries for January, but had not yet fallen into the account and that the salaries for December were awaiting publication. opinion of the Attorney General’s office, which should be released this Tuesday – Friday (14) for the filing to be completed.
