The Australian Open is due to start on Monday, January 16, but keep in mind that Melbourne is 14 hours ahead of Brazil and 11 hours ahead of Portugal.
There will be day and night sessions, which means there will be late night matches for Portuguese and Brazilian viewers.
After almost two weeks of tennis, the women’s final will be their first, scheduled for Saturday, January 28. The men’s final will take place on Sunday, January 29.
In Brazil, as in previous editions, the Australian Open will be broadcast on television by ESPN and, via diffusionby Star+.
In Portugal, the matches of the tournament will be broadcast by Eurosportwhich has held the ATP rights in this region for more than 30 years.
