In men’s singles, two victories for Brazil. For the SH6 class, Vitor Gonçalves Tavares defeated Frenchman Maxime Greboval in straight sets by 5/21 and 9/21. In the SL4 class, Eugênio Cleto won the South Korean Jeong Jaegun by WO.
Rodolfo Cano, in the WH1 class, lost to Thai Homhual Jakarin by 2-0 (partials of 7/21 and 21/14). Yuki Roberto Rodrigues, in the SU5 class, also lost to David Jack Wilson by 10/21 and 13/21.
In women’s singles, three triumphs were added to the Brazilian victories of the day. In the WH1 class, Auricélia Nunes beat the Polish Anna Wonly by 2 to 0 (21/19 and 21/19). By the same class, Daniele Souza beat the Canadian Yuka Chokyu by 2 to 0, with partials of 21/16 and 21/13. To close with a golden key, Abinaceia Silva (SL3) left behind the Frenchwoman Catherine Naudin and won by 2-0, partials of 21/07 and 21/06.
