In a worthy commitment to the Volleyball Nations League, the Brazilian women’s team were beaten by Canada in Bangkok, Thailand, and lost the chance to achieve their eighth victory in the competition.
Led by Gray, who had 25 points, the Canadians battled through every inning of the game. The Brazilians managed to react and led the duel until the tie-break, but ended up being beaten in the end. The splits of the match were 30/28, 22/25, 23/25, 25/21 and 15/17.

The negative result means that the selection continued in third place in the general classification, with seven triumphs, and stopped approaching the United States and Poland, first and second.
Brazil will return to court this Friday (30), at 10:30 a.m. (Brasília time), against Turkey. The trajectory of the men of José Roberto Guimarães in Bangkok ends next Sunday, against Thailand.
