Surfer Krystian Kymerson won the gold medal at the Pan Am Surfing Games and became the first person from Espírito Santo to win the state competition title. The championship has ended in this Sunday (30), in Playa Santa Catalina, in the district of Soná, Panama. Kymerson is being considered by the Bolsa Atleta program, of the Secretariat of Sports and Leisure (Sesport).

Fence In 20 countries took part in the competition, which also featured around 270 athletes from 19 national teams competing in the eight qualifying events: Shortboard, Longboard, SUP surf and SUP race. Krystian Kymerson moved into the top spot after passing fellow Canadian Cody Young, who was leading in the opening minutes.
