Lollapalooza headliners

Among the headliners of the festival, three will make their debut in Brazil: Billie Eilish, Blink 182 and Lil Nas X. At 20, Billie is one of the most famous singers of this generation, with an alternative pop that her earned seven Grammys and one Oscar statuette.

Lil Nas X is the code name of American rapper Montero Lamar Hill, who emerged with the viral hit “Old Town Road”, but consolidated with a pop and inventive rap.

The most veteran debutant, pop punk trio Blink 182 arrives in Brazil with the original lineup (Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker and Tom DeLonge), a new album celebrating 30 years of career and hits like “All the Small Things”, “I Miss You”, “Adam’s Song” and “What’s My Age Again?”.

Drake, a Canadian rapper who won streaming auditions, came to Rock in Rio with a show that stirred up more controversy than it delivered. Spanish popstar sensation Rosalía was in Brazil in 2022 and played one of the best shows here this year.

Lollapalooza 2022 brought together 302,000 people over the three days of the festival. Miley Cyrus, Doja Cat and Strokes were some of the international stars at the event.

The festival was also marked by tributes to drummer Taylor Hawkins, who died before the show the Foo Fighters would put on at Lolla.
