The Municipality of Lucas do Rio Verde participated in the meeting of the Court of Auditors of Mato Grosso (TCE-MT), held this Wednesday (29), in Cuiabá. The meeting, which brought together more than 300 participants, focused on the effectiveness of public management.

Mayor Miguel Vaz, Economic Development, Planning and City Secretary Wellington Souto, employees from Internal Control, the Attorney General’s Office and the Planning and Government and Administration Secretariats also participated. at Lucas do Rio Verde.

During the meeting, Interage TCE 22, Lucas do Rio Verde was highlighted in planning. Currently, the town hall uses the GPE, a program of the Court to help municipalities in strategic planning.

Interage is part of the TCE’s proposal to get closer to the municipalities with instructions and not only in the punitive aspect.

Also in the training, the Court brought the 10 most common irregularities in the accounts of municipalities, in addition to guidelines on how to avoid this type of situation. Examples presented included spending more than authorized staff costs and lack of minimum investment in areas such as health or education.

Both cases do not apply to Lucas do Rio Verde, because the staff costs are below the prudential limit, which is 51%. In Health, the Municipality has already exceeded the stipulated minimum of 15% and, in Education, the figures indicate that the objective should be reached by the end of the year.

“This meeting was of great value. This integration between managers and controllers is very important so that everyone is walking in the same direction, in favor of society and in search of effective results”, underlined the internal controller of the Municipality, Junior Amaral.
