The military firefighters of Minas Gerais (CBMMG) celebrate this Thursday (31) their 112 years of existence. In addition to its essential rescue and emergency response activities, the company is dedicated to social projects aimed at promoting community protection, resilience and social well-being.
During the anniversary celebration, which will take place at the Military Firefighters Academy, located at Av. Santa Rosa, 10, Belo Horizonte Airport, three projects of great importance will be highlighted: Firefighters in schools , First Aid and Prodinata.
Mission Canada and Recognition
During the celebration, the Professional Merit Medal, Ax Commendation will also be presented, and the CBMMG commemorative coin will be presented to service members who were serving in Canada. Details of the challenges faced by the Brazilian military on Canadian soil will be made available to the press, providing a comprehensive view of the operations conducted during the mission.

CBMMG is proud of its social projects, which contribute to a more conscious and safer society.
school firefighters: This project aims to raise awareness on topics such as home accidents, fires, drownings and road safety. In addition, it teaches responsible practices in relation to nature. A highlight will be the exemplary work of the 2nd Military Fire Company of Ouro Preto, which carries out educational blitzes and preservation activities in the historic center of the city.
FIRST AID: CBMMG offers first aid courses that teach lifesaving techniques to resuscitate, immobilize and stabilize victims in the event of trauma and clinical emergencies. The 3rd Fire Brigade of Belo Horizonte has distinguished itself for more than a decade by offering this training and promoting charity competitions among students.
Prodinata: This basic swimming course is aimed at all age groups and aims to promote physical development and sports practice, particularly in swimming. The 1st Military Fire Battalion offers the course in different teams, contributing to community safety and awareness of self-protection techniques.
Minas Gerais Military Firefighters are proud to serve the population beyond emergency situations, investing in social projects that make a difference in people’s lives. The anniversary ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. at the Military Fire Academy.
