The Neighborhood Health program offers medical and dental services starting Wednesday (12), at 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.in the Nordeste de Amaralina neighborhood, in Salvador.
The service units were installed in Largo do Areal, where they will continue until July 24, to accommodate residents of the neighborhood and surrounding areas.
Interested people must present their SUS card, ID and application for the desired exams. In the absence of a medical request, the citizen will benefit from an on-site clinical consultation, with places limited and released daily.
Interested people will be able to make an appointment for dental consultations and preventive examinations with or without colposcopy, x-rays, specialized medical consultations; transthoracic echocardiography and electrocardiogram; ultrasounds (total abdomen, color Doppler, carotid, thyroid, bilateral breast and pelvic/gynecological); laboratory and vaccination.
Promoted by the Salvador City Hall, through the Municipal Health Department (SMS), Saúde nos Bairros has already covered seven other populated centers in the city, surpassing the mark of more than 170,000 interventions carried out. The neighborhoods that already benefit from it are Bosque das Bromélias, Jardim das Margaridas, Tororó, Calabetão, Bom Juá, Cajazeiras and Fazenda Coutos III.
