The municipality of Blumenau, through the Secretariat for Health Promotion (Semus), informs that the family outpatient clinic Dr. Diogo Vergara (AGF Badenfurt) will continue its services next week, from June 5 to 9, except from the feast of Corpus Christi on the 8th. The initial idea of transferring the works to the university hospital was abandoned, as the town hall managed to find a property nearby, which had not been mapped before. The objective of improving the quality of the space and increasing the structure of services to the population is maintained, but the reform of the unit will begin when Semus makes the rental of the new space feasible.
Mayor Mário Hildebrandt stresses the importance of working to improve the quality of health care for the community in the region. “Work on AGF Badenfurt will begin as soon as the rental procedures are carried out and the adaptations to the property are completed,” he says.
Marcelo Lanzarin, secretary of Health Promotion, says the new property meets the needs of the community. “We will make the adjustments and as soon as everything is ready, we will let the people know. Consequently, the option to modify the working hours at HU has been cancelled”, specifies the secretary.

The current structure will receive 46 square meters, totaling more than 450 m² of built area. More than R$770,000 will be invested in the structure of AGF Badenfurt, which will benefit around 25,000 users in the region. Of the total investment amount, R$370,642.48 was made possible through an amendment by State Deputy Ismael dos Santos and an additional R$444,526.84 comes from the municipality’s own resources.
