It will be the thirteenth match in a row that the club will bring together more than 30,000 supporters at the Allianz Parque, an unprecedented sequence at the stadium. The series began in June against Atlético-MG for the Brazilian championship. It should be remembered that during the last three appointments – Flamengo (Brazilian), Atlético-MG and Atlético-PR (Libertadores) – over 40,000 people attended, which was also unprecedented since returning home in November 2014.
Due to a performance on popstar Justin Bieber’s tour, Verdão had announced that he would not have full capacity for a duel. Indeed, the Gol Norte sector should receive fewer ventilators, while the Superior North sector would not be available.
The Canadian artist’s event has however been cancelled, with the official announcement taking place last Tuesday (6). In a post on social media, Time For Fun, responsible for carrying out the musician’s tour in Brazil, announced that the presentation was suspended for Justin to take care of his health.
With the cancellation, Palmeiras will be able to receive supporters from all sectors of Allianz Parque during the match against Juventude. The same will be true in the confrontation against Corinthians, for the return of the semi-final of the Women’s Brasileirão, which takes place on the same day.
