The State Government, through the General Superintendence of Innovation (SGI), Invest Paraná and the Federation of Canadian-Brazilian Businesses (FCBB) signed this Friday (11) a bilateral cooperation agreement. The partnership aims to promote the commercial and internationalization processes of local companies.
The terms were agreed in Toronto, Canada. The international mission was organized by Blockchain Hub Brasil. The meeting took place during the Web3 Blockchain World, considered the largest data event in the world.
The document was signed by the Superintendent of Innovation of the Government of Paraná, André Telles, the Director of International and Institutional Relations of Invest Paraná, Giancarlo Rocco, and the Director of Business Development of the Federation of Canadian-Brazilian Companies (FCBB), Alcely Barroso.
The initiative will help identify, facilitate and foster relations between the State of Paraná and the North American country. The internationalization of companies and startups, as well as the promotion of exports between the two, are expected to accelerate in the coming years.
The Paraná delegation also made technical visits to The Accelerator Center startup accelerator, Ontario Innovation Center incubator and Latam Startups.
FCBB – The FCBB is a federation whose mission is to improve bilateral relations in innovation, investment and trade between Canada and Brazil. It targets small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and helps identify business opportunities for Canadian companies in Brazil and Brazilian companies in Canada.
