The second match of the Copa América quarter-finals takes place this Friday (17), with Canada and Venezuela facing off in a knockout match at 10 p.m. at the AT&T Stadium in search of a place in the semi-finals of the competition.
The Venezuelan team reached the quarter-finals after winning all of its group stage matches, earning nine points and leading Group B. The Canadian team reached the knockout stage after finishing second in Group A, earning four points in the group stage.
RETROSPECTION
Venezuela and Canada have never met in a competition, the Copa América quarterfinal match will be the first time. In history, the two teams have played twice and both matches ended in a draw.
