“Riverdale” and “Supernatural” actor Ryan Grantham murdered his own mother and planned to kill Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, in 2020.
The 24-year-old actor shot and killed his mother on March 31 of the same year. Barbara Waite, 64, was hit in the back of the head while playing the piano inside.

The next day, Grantham covered his mother’s body with a sheet and left the house, intending to kill the politician.
The information was revealed on the first day of the actor’s sentencing hearing this week.

He also confessed that after his mother was murdered, he freaked out, wrote in his diary, recorded a video next to the body, went out to get money, came home, tested building cocktails Molotov and watched television for two and a half hours.

The next day, he leaves the house in order to make another victim: Trudeau. Along with speaking to the police, the actor also wrote the intention down in a diary.
Halfway through, however, Grantham changed his mind and surrendered to the police. He could be sentenced to life in prison. The hearing will resume next week.

Grantham began acting in television and film at the age of nine. “Riverdale”, “Supernatural” and “iZombie” are the most significant series of the actor’s career.
He also acted in the films “The Path of Evil”, “Considering Love and Other Magic”, “Becoming Redwood” and in the first feature film of the franchise “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”.
