Still without many details about the movie which has become a smash hit on the web in recent weeks, Ryan Gosling gave some additional teases about what’s to come in the live-action ‘Barbie’. And that only raised fan expectations even more.
The 41-year-old actor will play Ken doll in the Barbie movie, which will star Margot Robbie. Directed by Greta Gerwig (“Lady Bird”, 2017), the feature film should be released in 2024.
During his appearance on ‘The Tonight Show,’ hosted by Jimmy Fallon, the Canadian star revealed an omen that convinced him he should take the job after reading the script. Watch the video released this Friday (22) below.
“I go out into the garden. Do you know where I found Ken, Jimmy? Face hidden in the mud next to a crushed lemon”, details Ryan Gosling, who draws laughter from the fans and the presenter, who immediately specifies that it was a sign.
“I wrote to Greta [Gerwig] and said, ‘I’ll be your Ken, this story needs to be told.’
Before telling the omen of the Ken doll lying in the garden, the actor said he had read the story sent by the director and did not hold back when he said on the show: “The best script that I have never read”.
