Ryan Reynolds wants to expand his business in the world of sport after recent success with Wrexham, who won unprecedented access to the English fourth division.

The Melnyk family, owners of the team since 2003, have set May 15 as the deadline to make an offer. Since the death of Eugene Melnyk in March 2022, the team’s former owner, the situation has been somewhat uncertain as to the new directions.
The purchase would be carried out by the Remington group, which, in addition to Reynolds, is headed by magnate Christopher Bratty. The duo would try to reach an agreement as soon as possible and have been energetic in the negotiations.
