Shawn Mendes24, used to show fans his full hair, worthy of a shampoo commercial, but he surprised fans in a recent public appearance with shaved locks!
Yes, the Canadian singer clicked on Monday (9), leaving a gym in West Hollywood, California, with a shaved head, very different from what the public is used to seeing in him.
In front of the cameras, Shawn looked all black in a T-shirt, shorts, socks and black trainers as he left after another day of practice. When listening to music, he always carried his mobile phone and a thermos water bottle.
In July, Shawn posted on social media announcing the cancellation of the rest of the tour in North America and Europe to fight against mental health and that he was unprepared for the intense routine that the tour demands.
Earlier that month, he had postponed the shows, but decided to cancel the performances. “I started the tour excited to finally be able to play after so long due to the pandemic, but the reality is that I was unprepared for the challenges the tour brought after this time,” Shawn began.
“After talking with my team and working with some amazing healthcare professionals, it’s become clearer that I need time to myself that I never had, to find myself and come back even stronger. Unfortunately , I have to cancel the rest of the tour in America. North and Europe. We were hoping to do the shows after taking some time off, but I have to put my health first and foremost,” the singer said.
“That doesn’t mean I won’t be making new music and I look forward to seeing you on tour in the future. I know you’ve been looking forward to these gigs and it breaks my heart to tell you this, but I promise to be back as soon as possible. I had a good time to heal. I love you guys, thanks for supporting me,” Shawn concluded.
