Spear Stroll certainly started the race for the 2023 season of the Formula 1 in a completely unimaginable way, victim of a bicycle accident on the eve of the premiere. However, after surgery and several days of convalescence, everything came together for the Canadian at the end of the first stage of the year, in bahrainwith a precious sixth place — which contributes to Aston Martin opening the championship in second place in the constructors’ championship.
After the argument, the pilot thanked the efforts of the medical team accompanying him, including the famous doctor of the MotoGP, Dr. Xavier Mirand explained that early return forecasts only indicated Australian GP — third stage of the year, April 2.

“There is a list of people who have helped me over the past two weeks, 14 days to be exact,” Stroll continued. “I had doctors who told me that I might only come back to Australia,” he said.
About the result, as it could not be otherwise, Stroll was relieved. The Canadian driver underlined the recovery period needed to race in the first stage of the year and admitted he did not expect to be present at Sakhir last weekend.
“I’m happy with my sixth place, considering everything that’s happened in the last two weeks,” he said. “Ten days ago I couldn’t walk, I couldn’t move my hands, I was practically a vegetable. I didn’t think I would be here now,” he admitted.
Finally, the companion Fernando Alonso highlighted the two-week recovery time until the next race, in Jeddahand gave insight into how the pain is in the places affected by the training accident.
“[Vou] continue to rehabilitate. I have 12 days to work on my wrist now, but I feel better every day. “My right wrist looks quite strong, and that’s why I had surgery.
