Besides the US delegations, the Taiwanese parliament informed that there are plans to visit other international political groups from the UK, Canada, Germany and Denmark.
Also on Monday, at a daily press conference, one of China’s foreign ministry spokespersons, Zhao Lijian, said the heavy presence of US ships in the Indo-Pacific region is a “sabotage” of stability in Taiwan.
The speech referred to the passage, this Sunday (08/28), of two cruisers in the Taiwan Strait.
