Tatiana Weston-Webb wins gold at the Pan

This Monday 30, Tatiana Weston-Webb won the gold medal in women’s surfing at the Pan American Games in Santiago, beating Sanoa Dempfle-Olin in the final.

This Monday 30, Tatiana Weston Webb took to the waters of Santiago and represented Brazil, winning the gold medal in women’s surfing. Defeat the Canadian Sanoa Dempflé-Olin in the grand final, the Brazilian won the 35th gold medal for our country Pan American Games.

With extensive experience in the main stages of WSL and competitor of Tokyo Olympics, Tati was considered one of the big favorites for gold since her debut. However, this Monday 30, she did not have an easy life and faced the rough seas of Viña del Mar. In the end, the Brazilian won with a margin of more than two points over the Canadian, but it was with a lot of emotions.

Five minutes from the end of the heat, the Canadian led and secured the gold medal, with a total of 10.13 points. However, in her final heat, Tati Weston-Webb didn’t feel the pressure and scored 7.33, securing the Pan American title. In total, the Brazilian finished the decision with 12.33 points.
