After "spin" around the world, featuring the main museums and art galleries, the project closes the 22/23 season with a virtual visit to Spain.
Contemporary art was chosen to close another season of the successful Virtual Museums project. This Saturday (13), at 11 a.m., the public will be able to embark on an unprecedented visit to the famous Guggenhein Bilbao, located in the city of Bilbao, in northern Spain. Designed by Canadian-born American architect Frank Gehry, the museum is one of the most visited destinations in the European country and houses collections of modern and contemporary Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art, in addition to special temporary exhibitions that are renewed throughout throughout the year.
In the exclusive itinerary prepared by art teacher Claudio Toscan, the public will be able to virtually walk through the galleries of the Guggenhein Bilbao and recognize how contemporary art is full of possibilities of expression with different means and materials. Examples of this are the works of artists such as Anish Kapoor, Richard Serra, Jenny Holzer and painters such as Basquiat, Gerhard Richter, Antoni Tápies and Anselm Kiefer who have renewed the expressive force of painting in recent decades.
The 10th season of the Virtual Museums Project held 24 sessions with 12 new themes, 12 for schools and 12 for the general public. The Virtual Museums Project is carried out by the Cultural Institute of Maratona and made possible thanks to the Municipal Culture Incentive Law of Florianópolis, with the cultural support of Corporate Park.
