Registration for the 3rd edition of Canada Roadshow, an event that showcases Canada as a study destination, is now open. The meeting where everyone can ask questions and find opportunities in the North American country will be held on the 25th (Sunday), at the Fiesta Bahia Hotel, Itaigara district, Salvador, from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The event, promoted by Hi Bonjour, the only Canadian and Brazilian agency present from East to West Canada, aims to introduce the public to the processes, conditions and range of universities available for Brazilians to start the project of immigration. The program includes conferences and a fair that will bring together the main Canadian educational institutions from the most varied provinces. Registration costs R$ 20 and must be done through the website. canadaroadshow.com.br.

Canada Roadshow positions itself as the most comprehensive Canadian experience in Brazil for the public to have access to information, from official and real sources. “We will also clarify the doubts that permeate the decision-making process of the interested parties, in addition to being able to benefit from personalized assistance, with the chosen educational institution and the partners in visa and immigration”, underlines t- -he. Thais Della Nina (picture below)founder of Hi Hello.

A differential of this edition of the Canada Roadshow is the involvement of digital influencers who live in Canada and will be in person at the event, talking about their experiences. Camille Ferreira and Paula Afonsoboth have made their approaches with Hi Bonjour, in addition to Joel Lima who will tell his daily life in the country that welcomed him as an immigrant.

In addition to Salvador, the fairs will take place in Recife and São Paulo, respectively on September 24 and 28. Besides these capitals, Ribeiro Preto/SP (13/09), Campinas/SP (15/09), Curitiba/PR (15/09), São Carlos/SP (19/09), Florianópolis (20/09), Manaus /AM (22/09), São José dos Campos/SP (22.09), Fortaleza/CE (22.09) and Goiânia (27.09) will receive the pocket format of the event, with talks from educational institutions and Canadian language schools.

Currently, Canada faces challenges such as an aging population and a declining birth rate. Immigrants help remedy this by contributing to the growth of the country’s workforce, so immigration has been an important part of making Canada what it is today: a country that celebrates multiculturalism and diversity, has a global reputation for welcoming people from all over the world. world and defend the most vulnerable.

“Going to higher education in Canada is the path chosen by many Brazilians considering immigrating to the country. Training at a Canadian institution counts points in Express Entry, the government’s online system for applying to professionals that gives a score for each characteristic of those intending to immigrate (age and family in Canada, for example) “, informs Thais Della Nina.

According to Canadian government data, 11,420 Brazilians were granted permanent residency in Canada in 2021. Of this total, 43.5% immigrated to the country through the Canadian Experience Class, one of three federal government programs part of Express Entry.
