The 12th edition of the Artes Vertentes Festival begins this Thursday (16), in Tiradentes. The program runs until the 26th. This is considered one of the main events in the country that promotes the meeting of the arts in an integrated manner. This year it has the theme “Imaginary Landscapes”, which guides concerts, exhibitions, shows, discussions, artistic residencies and workshops, among others. Some performances require a fee and tickets can be purchased at link.
The theme chosen this year aims to broaden reflection on art and its dialogues, which is directly manifested in the artists chosen by the curators of the program, which includes music, literature, theater, dance, cinema, visual arts and oral speech. People from all over Brazil and abroad participate in the Artes Vertentes Festival. In addition, the theme wants to talk about the place where the festival takes place: the changes in the landscapes of Tiradentes are perceptible, especially thanks to the real and intangible explorations.
