Marechal Cândido Rondon City Council is officially in a new home. As part of the ExpoRondon program, it was inaugurated this morning (23), in a ceremony attended by municipal, state and federal authorities, as well as leaders and the general population.
Among them, President Councilor Vanderlei Sauer (Soldier Sauer) and other mayors; Mayor Marcio Rauber and the municipal secretaries.
The building now occupied by the Legislative Power, was for nearly three decades the Forum of the Rondon district. With the change of the Forum in 2017, the building was abandoned for almost five years, until state law authorized the Paraná government to transfer ownership to the town hall, which was responsible for the renovation.
For the structure to accommodate the town hall, more than R$ 1.9 million was invested by the municipal administration.
In the new headquarters, each councilor will have his own office. The plenary will also bring more comfort to the public. All accessibility conditions were also guaranteed, including an elevator to transport people from the first to the second floor of the building.
During the legislative holidays this month, customer service is available from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., but will return from 7:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. from August. The first ordinary session of the new municipal council will take place on the 7th, from 6 p.m.
The former headquarters of the Legislative Power will become the new headquarters of the Military Police.
