The Brazilian Society of Endometriosis (SBE) and the Endowomen Group continue, this Saturday (11), the programming of the ‘SBE & Elas’ seminar, to raise awareness of the signs, symptoms, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cervical cancer of the uterus and endometriosis.
The event, which is part of the Yellow March program and is supported by the Municipal Department of Health, takes place at Casa de Saúde Hospital (Rua Machado de Assis, 92, 15th floor, Boqueirão), with activities open to all interested parties.
This Friday morning (10) the focus of the conferences was on the work of health professionals and prevention methods. Attending the lectures, nurse Priscila Murback said she considered the symptoms of the disease to be very understated.
“When you have an event in which health professionals join women to have this information, I think it is fundamental to improve the quality of life, of service and to alert other professionals to the importance from a different perspective on pain”.
President of the Support Association for Women with Endometriosis – Endomulheres Baixada Santista and one of the organizers of the event, Flavia Marcelino cited one of the differentials of the conferences proposed during the meeting.
“All this information that doctors have access to in congress, today they pass it on to women with endometriosis.”
This Saturday (11), the show, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., will focus on the work carried out by health associations, with themes such as expanding access to the diagnosis and treatment of disease and reports on the Canadian experience in patient care.
