The Thermas dos Laranjais water park, in Olímpia (SP), will have a new complex of slides. Called “Nations”, the toy promises to be one of the most radical in the world.
With an investment of BRL 60 million and scheduled to open in 2024, the new attraction will consist of two super water slides, from a 33-meter high tower. The descent will be done with buoys that can accommodate up to six people at a time.
The world’s unprecedented toy is developed by the Canadian company White Water West, one of the most renowned manufacturers in the field. The name of the future attraction is a tribute to the creator and founder of the park, businessman Benito Benatti.
According to Jorge Noronha, president of the park, the project is in the final stages of technical details and staging.
The newest attraction at Latin America’s most visited water park is shaping up to be even more radical than the Legendary, one of the park’s top attractions and considered the country’s largest waterslide complex.
“Nations should surpass the legendary in several respects. It is a grand and unique project, which adds even more to our already extensive portfolio of attractions, in addition to following the line of thought of Benito Benatti, who has always had for objective of building unique attractions in the world in Olímpia,” said Noronha.
Thermas dos Laranjais currently has more than 55 attractions for all ages, from young children to adrenaline junkies.

big Wheel
Playcenter recently announced the construction of a large panoramic wheel, the first of the group and one of the largest in the country. The attraction, which was imported from China and is already in Brazil, will be 88 meters high and will have 54 air-conditioned cabins that can accommodate up to 8 people.
The Ferris wheel will be built in an area next to the Enjoy Olímpia Park Resort hotel.
Amusement park
Known for its water parks, Thermas dos Laranjais and Hot Beach, and more recently for the themed areas of Grupo Dreams, Olímpia should soon have an amusement park.
The development, called Radical Play Park, is owned by the Ita Center Park group and is being built next to McDonalds. The park will have a fixed structure with turnstiles for entry, restrooms, shops and a food court. And of course lots of toys.
The attractions will be itinerant, that is, they will be modified over time, serving all audiences, from children and families to radicals.
The Radical Play Park in Olímpia is expected to open by the end of this year.
Dreams Ice Bar
After Vale dos Dinossauros and Dreamland Museu de Cera, Grupo Dreams will install a Bar de Gelo unit, scheduled to open in the first half of 2023.
The new attraction will “fit like a glove”, as Olímpia is located in an area that is generally sunny and warm almost all year round.
The attraction will have 650 m² and will be built next to the Wax Museum, on Avenida Aurora Forti Neves. There will be almost 30 tons of crystal clear ice and temperatures that can reach -15ºC.
