The Paranaense Football Federation has released the 2023 Paranaense Access Division Championship table. The West region will be represented by Toledo Esporte Clube (TEC). Porco will make his away debut against Paraná Clube on April 29 at 3:30 p.m. in Vila Capanema, Curitiba.
Andraus, PSTC, Grêmio Maringá, Apucarana Sports, Laranja Mecânica, Iguaçu, Araucária and Patriotas are the other teams participating in the competition. In the second round, on May 7, Toledo will also have to play away, still in Vila Capanema, against Patriotas. The first game in front of the fans will be in the 3rd round against Araucaria on May 14. In addition to being a very difficult championship, in the first phase TEC will cover more than 4,500 km, but Técnico Zé Maria is confident for a good championship.
Paraná is considered the main favorite for access. Relegated last year, Tricolor only has the state for the 2023 calendar. Paraná’s debut with Toledo, and the entire first phase of the Paranist team, will be behind closed doors. The club are serving a 2022 state penalty, when fans invaded the pitch after the team fell to second tier.
The format remained the same: single shift, with nine games. The four best placed advance to the semi-finals, and the finalists go up to the first division. The bottom two are relegated. The knockout phase consists of home and away matches. Teams will be able to register new athletes and activate them until June 16 – there is no limit on team registrations.
