Next Tuesday, the 20th, the Universal television shows the last episode of the series Cardinal, from 11:10 p.m. In this last episode, the 6th of the 4th season, as they struggle to find young Mena (Chantal Saab) and Taj (Cas Anvar), detectives John Cardinal (Billy Campbell) and Lise Delorme (Karine Vanasse) arrest Sheila (Carmen Moore) and find out what really happened in the woods 20 years ago that led to the arrest of Scott Riley (Shawn Doyle). From there, killing the loved ones of those truly responsible for the crime became Scott’s primary mission. And trying to get inside his head, John and Delorme think they know where Scott may have taken his victims. In a new hunch, the detectives drift away from the search party and find themselves confronting Scott Riley alone, with Taj and Mena’s lives in danger!
Cardinal is a Canadian crime drama created by actor, writer and director Aubrey Nealon, which first aired in 2017. Adapted from the novel ‘Forty Words For Sorrow’ by writer Giles Blunt, the series focuses on Detective John Cardinal and his partner Lise Delmone who investigate crimes in the fictional town of Algonquin Bay.
Starring Billy Campbell (Darren Richmond of The Killing) and Karine Vanasse (Colette Valois of PanAm and Margaux LeMarchal of Revenge) in the lead roles, Cardinal also has other big names, like Alanna Bale (The Lady, of Space Agents ) and Glen Gould (Avery Paul, in Charlie Zone).
After the broadcast, the complete four seasons will be available on Universal+, within the services ‘Globoplay + Canals Ao Vivo’ and ‘Canais Globo’.
CORONER – SEASON FINALS
On the 27th, at 10:20 p.m., the season finale of coroner. In the Season 4 finale, Jenny (Serinda Swan) and Peggy (Jennifer Dale) are forced to face off in a bitter fight for their lives. A case involving a well-known gangster forces Donovan (Roger Cross) to reconsider his future.
Coroner is a Canadian television drama series based on the new series “Jenny Cooper” by British screenwriter and novelist Matthew Hall, also known as MR Hall. Starring Serinda Swan (Marvel’s Supernatural, Hawaii Five-O and Inhumans) as coroner Dr. Jenny Cooper, the story also features actor Roger Cross (Law & Order: SUV, MacGyver and Mad Money), the Detective Donovan ‘Mac’ McAvoy, Ehren Kassam (Degrassi: Next Class), as Ross Khalighi, and award-winning actress Jennifer Dale (X-Man and costumes) as Margaret ‘Peggy’.
