The team of WE confirmed the favoritism and debuted with victory over the The Netherlands, in the team’s first game for Men’s Volleyball Nations League (VNL) 2023. Americans did 3 to 0 and obtained the 3 possible points, during a match played in the Canadian capital, ottawa.
The game giving indications that the United States national team would not give the Netherlands team many chances. The North Americans opened the scoring from the middle of the set and managed the advantage until the first half ended at 25-19.
