the queen of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK 3, Vanity Milan, released an emotional statement after the fifth episode of Canada’s Drag Race vs the World aired, in which he was eliminated. The heartfelt statement was about his tumultuous time in the Drag Race franchise, check out the post below.

“After RuPaul’s Drag Race UK S3, I felt the lowest I’ve ever felt. I received non-stop hate and constantly felt bad about my rankings because I was “carried down by the season” because of my skin color and being the only black queen of my season.

It haunted me for a long time, and there were times when I wanted to give up drag. I encouraged myself and moved on because I never wanted to let anyone down or let anyone down but deep down I felt like I was a disappointment .

I want to thank my husband, who saw that my mental health needed attention and made sure I was taken care of while entertaining others!

Some might say I came back too soon [a competir em Drag Race] or I shouldn’t even have come back at all, but I wanted my redemption; I wanted to tell the naysayers that Vanity Milan had more to offer. Canada’s Vs The World called me and I answered. After the last episode, I can say loud and clear, “I’m an icon, I’m a legend, and I’m the moment, regardless of my classification.”

On Twitter, the Queen concluded her message with the following post:

“Thank you all for allowing me to grace your TVs again! I had the most incredible times! The entire Canadian production, crew, supporting queens and everyone involved made this experience to 100%! To the Drag Race fans who have shown uninterrupted love and support! 🧡 LOVE YOU ALL!!”

Vanity also thanked UK v World champion Blu Hydrangea for his words of support.
