The Vila Olímpica Jornalista Ary de Carvalho, in Vila Kennedy, has opened more than a thousand places for sports practice. Registration begins this Thursday (23/02) at the local secretariat. All courses are free and many modalities are available. Each person can register for a maximum of three activities. The age range for the modalities is 5 years.

– It is an incredible opportunity for those who want to practice physical activity. We are working to increase the number of vacant places in the Olympic villages, bringing sport to the whole population – said the municipal secretary for Sports, Guilherme Schleder.

There are openings for aerobox, athletics, ballet, power ballet, basketball, capoeira, functional, futsal, gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, hydrogymnastics, jiu-jitsu, karate, swimming, floor pilates, functional pilates, ritbox, step, street dance, tabata and taekwondo, in addition to activities for PCDs.

Applications are open from Tuesday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. They continue until all vacancies offered in each modality are filled.

The documents required for those over 18 are copies of identity, the CPF and proof of address. Anyone using continuous medication must present a medical certificate. Minors must bring copies of the student’s identity document, the identity document and CPF of the person in charge, proof of address and the school registration document. Only the father, the mother, the grandparents or the elder brother can register minors.
