15 years of In-Edit Brasil, International Music Documentary Festival

From this Thursday (15) until June 25, the commemorative edition of 15 years of In-Edit Brasil, International Music Documentary Festivalin CineSesc, Cinemateca Brasileira, Spcine Olido, Spcine Paulo Emílio (CCSP) theaters, among others – with some of the programming streamed online throughout Brazil.

This year the festival presents 68 national and international titles, never before seen in commercial cinema or the streaming circuit, with characters such as Tom Jobim, Elis Regina, Syd Barrett and the group Pink Floyd, Chiquinha Gonzaga and many others.

The guest of this edition is the Canadian filmmaker and producer Ron Mann, who comes to Brazil to present his films – including imagine the sound (1981), considered by many critics to be one of the most important jazz films ever made. In addition, the program also includes two special exhibitions: the Show for teenagerswith titles that refer to the adolescence of several generations, and the show flashbackwith rare titles, adored by the festival curator, but never shown during the event.

Another highlight was the autograph session with the singer Letrux, during a launch event for the LP Letrux Ao Prantos, collaborative release between Romaria Discos and Amigues do Vinil, and licensed by Ejaòkun Produções. This Saturday (17), A Slam das Minas-SP, the first gender-focused spoken word battle in the state of São Paulo, will hold a special edition at Casa Baderna, a producer and publisher specializing in marginal literature, located nearby at Guarapiranga Park.

The event program includes a book launch. holly land, by the poet genesis, livepaint with visual artist Luna Bastos and pocketshow by Mc Xuxu, closing the night. The battle has a vacancy for ten poets to participate (excluding cis men). The winner wins the prize of 500 reais, in addition to the last vacancy for the season.
