It’s more than natural that some of you had a question mark while watching the third and final season of locke and key at netflix Wondering who the hell is this actor playing the bad guy, always trying to break the peace of the Locke family?

Well, for those who don’t remember or have no idea who it is, here’s the answer: Kevin Durand.

The 48-year-old Canadian actor has worked in different types of productions during his almost thirty-year career, such as: The Strain: A Teno (2014 – 2017); Dark Angel (2000 – 2002); Lost (2004 – 2010); Legion (2010); The Last Card (2006) and Butterfly Effect (2004).

He never had the chance to be the protagonist of a story, but he has a more than worthy resume that deserves praise.

Robin Hood (2010)

Durand took on the role of Little John – Robin Hood’s sidekick who served as his lieutenant and second-in-command of the Happy Men – in iconic filmmaker Ridley Scott’s production based on the legend of the outlaw hero. .

No (2014)

He voiced Ramiel (a fallen angel) in the big biblical epic production helmed by controversial director Darren Aronofsky.

Vikings (2013 – 2020)

He also starred in six episodes of the popular series inspired by the sagas of Ragnar Lodbrok, a Viking who is one of the best-known Norse legendary heroes and known as the scourge of Anglo-Saxon England and West Francia.

Kevin Durand played Barry Burton – a SWAT veteran and STARS Alpha Team weapons expert – in the fifth installment of the Resident Evil franchise, based on horror and survival video games created by Capcom.

Ballers (2015 – 2019)

As with Vikings, the Canadian actor appeared in six episodes of the charismatic comedy-drama series starring Dwayne Johnson about a retired NFL (football) player who must navigate his new career of choice as chief financial officer for other players.

Swamp Thing (2019)

Despite being canceled with just one season, Durand can be followed in nine out of ten episodes of this horror superhero series based on the DC Comics character Swamp Thing.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009)

Like so many Hollywood actors and actresses, Kevin Durand also had his chance with Marvel. He plays Fred Dukes – better known as Blob – a character often described as an adversary of the X-Men, in this production which tells the origins of Logan, the eternal Wolverine.
