A Canadian has gone viral on social media after finding a hidden camera in the bathroom of the house where she was staying. She and 14 other friends went there to celebrate the 30th birthday of one of them. However, they were surprised by the equipment installed in the room.

According to Kennedy, on the second day of the trip, a friend of hers became a little paranoid about being watched by cameras and decided to search the premises. The young woman says that she thought her friend was dramatic, and that she even tried to dissuade her from continuing to search for the cameras.

“She searched every shower, every picture frame, doorknob, everywhere in the house for a camera and found one in the bathroom,” Kennedy explained.

The friend was called paranoid by others until she became suspicious of an outlet that directly faced the shower. “The outlet didn’t work, you couldn’t plug anything into it,” he said.

In the video, Kennedy showed a photo showing the connector. “You can see in the top shot that there is nothing, apparently normal, but in the bottom shot, look at the camera!” According to the young woman, the women were shocked by the situation and called the police.

“I was pretty embarrassed about the heinous things I was doing in that bathroom the night before,” Kennedy said.

“We left the house and the police searched the place, they found the camera and sent it for analysis,” he concluded.

For the Canadian, the moral of the story is to always check the cameras in the accommodations, in addition to always listening to her paranoid friends.
