Streaming Plex TV, competitor to Pluto TV, announces new free channels

A few days ago, Plex TV, the free streaming platform, announced the arrival of seven additional channels in its collection. Now, new programs will be added to the IPTV service, aiming to bring more entertainment and options to consumers. Thus, three new channels are part of the programming: The Ed Sullivan Show, Just for Laughs and Mech+.

Thinking about the news, in this article you can check some details related to the new channels that will be added to the direct competitor of Pluto TV. Look:

1. The Ed Sullivan Show

Airing for more than two decades, the show aired for Americans who enjoyed Sunday night shows hosted by Ed Sullivan, responsible for presiding over many of America’s “early” television talents. With the arrival of Plex TV, those who want to know the story or revisit it will be able to enjoy the best moments of the renowned program.

Among the individuals and groups who were catapulted to success after their first television appearances through the show, or who were relatively unknown to the general public, are: Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis, the Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley and the Beatles.

2. Just for Laughs

The famous pranks can be enjoyed on the canal, in an attraction where people get involved in different hilarious situations. “Just of Laughs” is a Canadian comedy/hidden camera reality television show. The episodes often tackle innocent topics while hidden cameras capture people’s responses.

3. Mech+

Finally, Mech+ brings innovation and entertainment, mixing science, robotics and engineering. The show was once part of Plex TV but was eventually removed. However, the attraction has returned to the schedule of the free streaming platform. In it it is possible to enjoy, for example, fights between robots built by professionals.

Plex TV

For those who do not know, Plex TV is an IPTV service (Internet Television Protocol, in Portuguese), allowing the transmission of content originally produced for television over the Internet.

The main advantage of the platform is that it is completely free and all you have to do is register to take advantage of the available programming. However, most of its content is in English, which can be a problem for users who are unfamiliar with the language.

The content made available through the service can be accessed both through computers, laptops and smart TVs, as well as through mobile phones and tablets with Android and iOS.
