Capybara is rescued from a health center in Fortaleza

A capybara weighing 40 kilograms was found in a health center in Fortaleza, in the Praia do Futuro district. The Environmental Police Battalion was called to rescue the animal and sent it to the Center for Wildlife Screening (CETAS), where it will undergo a health check and receive veterinary care.

According to the Secretariat of Public Security (SSPDS), the health unit where the capybara was in work. The wild animal will undergo reintegration preparation to return to its natural habitat.
