Vítor Felipe and Renato win the first Beach Volleyball World Cup in Mexico

In the early hours of Friday and Saturday, the Brazilian pairs returned to the Mexican sands and recorded a victory and a defeat, in Tlaxcala, for the Beach Volleyball World Championship. The tournament started on Thursday (5) and will continue until October 11.

In group I, Evandro and Arthur were beaten by the Mexicans Galindo and Aguirre who won at home by 2 sets to 0, partial scores of 17/21 and 18/21.

Vitor Felipe and Renato, current vice-world champions, beat the Canadians Schachter and Dearing by 2 sets to 1, with shares of 21/23, 22/20 and 15/10, in group L.

This Saturday (7), Ana Patrícia and Duda, current world champions and leaders of the world rankings, face Rivas Zapata and Chris.

Andressa and Vitoria face Paulikiene and Raupelyte; Tainá and Victoria face J. Dong and Wang and Pedro Solberg and Guto face HA Likejiang and Wu Jiaxin.
