DTwo members of the Royal Canadian Air Force were reported missing this morning after the military helicopter they were traveling in crashed in the Ontario region, about 160 kilometers from the capital, Ottawa.
In a press release, the armed forces explained that four soldiers were aboard a CH-147 Chinook helicopter, on a training flight, when the vehicle crashed Tuesday around midnight, near the Ottawa River.
Two of the team members were found alive and transported to a hospital unit.
Around fifty members of the armed forces are collaborating in search operations, both on land and at sea. Civilian vessels have also been asked to avoid the coasts close to the region, in order to facilitate operations.

The reasons for the check or the condition of the two soldiers found are currently unknown.
