The singer Regis Danese, involved in a car accident, is still in good condition in the ward of the Goiás State Emergency Hospital (Hugol), in Goiânia. The singer has been released from the intensive care unit (ICU).
According to the medical report from this Saturday (2), the singer is in a regular state, conscious and breathing spontaneously.
Régis had a perforated intestine, as well as fractures to three ribs, his chest and his wrist. He underwent a laparotomy followed by enterorrhaphy – which is respectively the opening of the abdomen and the suture placed over the cut in the intestine.
“Laparotomy is access to the abdominal cavity to identify what happened. The raffia is the seam of the intestine,” informed the doctor responsible for the procedures, Alan Kagan.

The accident occurred early in the evening of Wednesday (30). The singer was driving the car when he hit a truck on the BR-153, in Jaraguá, central region of the state. He was accompanied by his brother, Daniel Danese, who was not injured. The truck driver was also not injured.
Régis would present a show to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Cérès, organized by the town hall. In a press release published on social networks, the organizers of the event regretted this episode and announced the cancellation of the show.
