A baby woolly mammoth has been found frozen in permafrost in northwest Canada.

This is the first discovery of its kind in North America.

The mummified Ice Age mammoth is thought to be more than 30,000 years old.

It was discovered by prospectors in the Klondike region of the Yukon on Tuesday (06/21).
