Justice authorized the 18-year-old trans daughter of billionaire Elon Musk, 50, to change her name and gender, officially making her Vivian Jenna Wilson, this Thursday (23). She also managed to drop her famous father’s last name, opting for Wilson, which is her mother Justine’s maiden name.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge approved the petition and requested that a new birth certificate be issued by the state to reflect the changes. The request was made by the young woman shortly after she turned 18.

On Tuesday (21), TMZ revealed that the young trans woman was named Xavier Musk at birth, but asked to change her first and last name. A screenshot shared on Twitter Know Nothing TV shows legal documents filed in April in Los Angeles County (USA) with a petition to change their name.

In the request made to the Court, the young woman specifies that the reason for the change of name is that she wants to be recognized as a woman and no longer wants her name to be linked in any way to her biological father.
In December 2020, Elon tweeted his support for the transgender community, but added, “All these pronouns are an aesthetic nightmare.”

Musk has seven children: Griffin, Vivian, Kai, Saxon, Damian, whom he had with Canadian writer Justine Wilson, who was married from 2000 to 2008, and X AE A-XI and Exa Dark Sideræl, whom he shares with singer Grimes.
