O Gerdau Minas was no match for Conegliano in the semi-finals of the Women’s Club World Championship. This Saturday (12/17), defeat by 3 to 0 (25-12, 25-17 and 25-21). To beat a rival of this level, the Brazilian team needed balance in the fundamentals and it was not seen in passing and in attack. So much so that the two main attacking wingers had a very weak performance: Kisy with 15% and Peña with 20%. With no option to eliminate high balls, Minas was still behind the scoreboard. Highlighting the good entry of Pri Souza from the middle of the second set. For Conegliano, the entry of Alexa Gray in place of Kathryn Plummer as the starter has worked very well.
