Brazil have qualified for the main women’s football tournament, which will take place from July 20 to August 19, in Australia and New Zealand. Drawn in Group F, the Seleo will face France, Jamaica and a team still trying to qualify for the repechage in the group stage.
Before that, however, player engagements begin long before that. Check out the main football events for next year below:
women’s football
SheBelieves Cup – 2/16 to 2/22
Brazil starts the calendar with the FIFA date. The championship counts with the Seleo, the United States, Canada and Japan, and takes place in Nashville, Orlando and Texas. The matches will be against the Japanese, on the 16th, at 6 p.m., then against the Canadians, on the 19th, at 8:30 p.m. The last duel against the ladies of the house, on the 22nd, at 8:30 p.m.
Brazilian – 02/26 to 09/17
The Brazilian Series A1 Championship begins at the end of February and brings together 16 participating clubs. The tournament will take a break during the Women’s World Cup, but will return later with the rest of the clashes.
Ultimate – 6/4
Copa America champion Canarinho faces Euro champions England in a single game at Wmbley.
World Cup – 20/07 to 19/08
Despite the start of the tournament on the 20th, the Selecao entered the game on July 24, against a team still in contention for a place in the repechage. The candidates are Panama, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay and Taiwan. Next, Brazil will face France on July 29 and then face Jamaica on August 2.
Nations League
The European competition still does not have a set schedule, but the group stage will start in the second half.

State Championships – 1/15 to 4/9
The state championships are the first men’s events of the year. Clubs will have their first opportunities to test new squad members and tactical changes based on the new group reality.
Brazilian Super Cup – 1/28
The Super Cup is a single duel between current Copa do Brasil champion Flamengo and 2022 Brazilian champion Palmeiras. The match still has no set location to take place.
Club World Cup – 1st to 2/11
The competition, which will feature Flamengo, Real Madrid and other clubs, is taking place in Morocco. The two main clubs enter the tournament from the semi-finals, although the venues and table are yet to be determined.
Recopa Sudamericana – 2/8 to 15
Copa Sudamericana champions Independiente del Valle and Libertadores champions Flamengo will play two games to decide who will win the title.
Libertadores Cup – 8/2 to 11/11
The most important competition on the South American continent starts with the pre-championship phase in February, where some clubs are still looking for a place.
Brazilian Cup – 22/02 to 24/09
The first phase of the “most democratic of all” championship starts at the end of February and lasts practically the whole year. With new clubs entering the next stages, the domestic title holder will be decided on September 24.
South American Cup – 08/03 to 28/10
The second Continental Cup does not begin its duels until March. The Brazilians, who have a guaranteed place in the group stage, are waiting for the last clubs to find a place in the competition before getting to work.
Brazilian – 04/15 to 12/03
The 38 days of Serie A of the Brazilian Championship will begin on April 15. Although all the clubs have already started their work, this is when fans can see the teams use their full strength to set their goals for the season.
Nations League – 14 to 18/6
The European competition will define its champion on June 18. Before that, the semi-finals take place on the 14th and 15th of the same month. The dispute for 3rd place in the European tournament will take place on the same day as the big decision.
