A shooting in a gay bar in the United States leaves five dead and 18 injured. The suspect is a 22-year-old man – Observer

At least five people have been killed and 18 injured after a gunman entered Club Q, a gay bar in Colorado Springs.in the North American city of Colorado, and fired at random against those inside.

The police were called at 11:57 p.m. (5:57 a.m. in Lisbon). Upon entering the bar, authorities immediately identified the suspect, who was arrested. The attacker was later identified as Anderson Lee Aldrich, 22revealed the police during a press conference held on Sunday afternoon, according to The New York Times.

The suspect was injured and is receiving treatment at a local hospital.

There are two seriously injured.. At least two people with minor injuries were released from the hospital. Colorado Springs police said it’s possible not all of the injured were shot, as some people were injured as they tried to flee.

Colorado Springs Fire Chief Mile Smaldino said 11 ambulances responded to the incident after the emergency number (911) received multiple calls, refers to CNN International.

The reason for the shooting, which took place on International Transgender Day of Remembrance, was not given. (November 20), in memory of victims of transphobia. The investigation is followed by the FBI.
