A day after undergoing a laparoscopy to treat a case of endometriosis, singer Anitta is no longer expected to be discharged. According to a note published by the Vila Nova Star Hospital, the singer presents a satisfactory evolution of the clinical picture after the operation.
It has been speculated that the artist will leave the hospital by the end of the week, however, according to the hospital, there is still no discharge forecast. Minimally invasive, laparoscopy is the removal or burning of endometrial tissue that damages organs such as the bladder, intestines, ovaries or the outside of the uterus.
“The Vila Nova Star Hospital, of Rede D’or, informs that the artist Anitta remains hospitalized in the unit, located in the southern zone of the capital of São Paulo. The evolution of the clinical state of the artist after the surgery is considered satisfactory. Anitta is under the medical care of the team led by Professor Ludhmila Hajjar and the general director of the hospital, Pedro Loretti. So far there is no forecast out,” the note reads.
The artist was admitted to hospital shortly after completing a tour of Europe, during which she traveled 20 countries in 30 days. On her Instagram, Anitta revealed that the operation was already planned before leaving for the shows on the mainland.
Endometriosis is a chronic disease that affects women of childbearing age. To the hospital, the popstar was accompanied by her boyfriend, Canadian DJ and producer Murda Beatz, and Paraíba influencer Gkay.
