Companies offer a thousand scholarships in the technology sector
One thousand full training and technology scholarships are offered to people in economically vulnerable situations. The vacancies are aimed at people aged 18 and over, who have completed secondary education and who have a monthly income of up to two and a half minimum salaries per person.
The training covers software development, with an emphasis on the back-end. It is not necessary to have prior knowledge of technology to take the course. Two classes will be intended exclusively for women and blacks, each social group having 250 places.
Registration can be done via the website www.cubos.academy/lp/1000bolsasifood and will close when the scholarships are full. The selection process involves brief steps:
- Applicants complete the application form;
- Then, a practical programming logic exercise will be carried out. At this stage, all candidates will have already completed a preparatory course provided free of charge, i.e. it is not necessary to have prior knowledge of programming;
- Finally, the Cubos Academy team will carry out an individual interview.
In total, the training will last 30 weeks, with theoretical courses on Monday and Wednesday, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., and practical courses from Monday to Friday, from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The training will guarantee the programming foundation, explaining all the basic and introductory concepts from the start.
The courses will use a specific programming language: javascript with node.js. The course will also work on written and verbal communication, negotiation, the General Law on the Protection of Personal Data (lgpd), Linkedin and preparation for job interviews.
Students will benefit from live mentoring, so they can ask questions whenever necessary. The scholarships are the result of a partnership between Cubos Academy and iFood.
